Lacey Spears raised her son, Garnett, as a single mother, however this would prove to be especially difficult for her due to Garnett being born a very sick baby. For most of his life, Garnett was brought back and forth to several doctors who couldn’t determine what it was that was causing him to be so ill. While he was being kept in the hospital, he would thrive, but the moment he was sent home, he’d wind up right back in the hospital shortly after. Lacey did everything she could to help her baby, at least that’s what it seemed like from the outside.
